Bull Island

On Highway 17 heading north out of Charleston you'll pass the almost hidden community of Awendaw, South Carolina. It's peaceful and quaint, covered in trees and flat marsh land that goes for miles. On the edge of it is a little island bordering Bulls Bay, called Bull Island. I'm sorry to say that in all of our years living in Charleston, although I'd driven through Awendaw many times, I never knew this gem of an island existed. In painting this collection I knew I had to capture this breathtaking spot. The next time you drive through Awendaw be sure to make a stop here.

Each canvas comes freshly varnished with painted edges. This allows for direct wall hanging if you choose not to have it framed. If framed, we recommend a floating style frame in a neutral color that complements the room where it will hang.
