April is an Asheville based artist and creator working primarily in acrylics. Her work is inspired by creation and the power of story. With bright colors and strong brushstrokes she paints to capture the heart of impactful moments through her work.

Having spent much of her life in the southeast of Charleston, South Carolina and most recently the mountains of Western North Carolina, April is constantly surrounded by beautiful inspiration to be laid to canvas. Her pursuit of art began as a young college student at Charleston Southern University and has carried many forms over the past two decades, most recently settling her into the fine art community. 

When she’s not painting, April loves spending time with her husband and their four children. Gathering around a table with friends for stories and a good meal is forever a favorite pastime, as well as spending time outside in creation.
